About me
I am a recent Scientific and Technical Communication (BS) graduate from Michigan Technological University. I am trained in techical writing for a number of different diciplines, as well as an experienced graphic designer and content creator.
I have always had an interest in design. As a high school student I was the marketing captain for the local robotics team. In that position I learned a lot about the progress of design, market analysis, and leading projects. When going into college I was not sure whether to pursue technical communications or marketing. However, through the exploring majors program I found my interests were more in line with the study of communication and how to streamline its effectiveness. I have still pursued my marketing interests to some degree through taking extra courses where I can.
Currently my studies will continue in an accelerated masters program at MTU. I will be studying applied psychology and human factors design. From this program I hope to expanding my skills and experience in UI/UX and human centered design.

I have recently concluded my undergraduate degree at Michigan Technological University. My degree focuses on the development of applical communication skills for technical writing, as well as skills useful to scientific writing and journalism. While at MTU I took many classes that broadened my skillset, graduating with a minor in media production and a minor in psychology. I also took quite a few marketing classes.
